It’s been a while in the making, but the Magnetic North Theatre Festival is happening this month.
Starting June 9 – and running everyday until the 19th… there’s a ton of events, parties, shows and activity all over town. There’s gotta be SOMETHING you’d like to check out.

Nu Berlin is going to be attending a show on Saturday. here’s the details.
The Show is HOMAGE.
It’s about : An advertising executive takes a risk, leaves his job and tries his hand at art. His first commission: a public sculpture for a town’s central square, a monumental installation inspired by Stonehenge and built out of red Canadian cedar. Thirty years later, he has become one of the country’s most successful public sculptors and his work is featured in textbooks on Canadian art. Yet, as his health fails and he is left with an uncertain prognosis, the town decides to demolish his seminal work.
When? Saturday June 12, 2pm. But, get there at 1pm.
Where? Conrad Centre for the Performing Arts - beside the children’s museum.
How Much? Well, we know you’re a little bit scared of theatre, so it’s Pay What You Can to get into the show. Saying that. We can’t guarantee we’ll get it, so let’s get there at 1pm and get a seat.
